More About megan

Originally from Jasper, Megan moved to Saskatoon at age eight and now resides in the town Davidson. She was highly active growing up, participating in fastball, high school volleyball, dance, and rowing. During university, Megan transitioned from being an athlete to caring for athletes as a volunteer student trainer for the U of S Huskies. Under the mentorship of the university’s head physiotherapist, she worked with the Women’s Volleyball Team and Men’s Football Team for five years, which sparked her interest in physiotherapy. In her spare time Megan enjoys spending time with her Husband and dog outside, whether going for walks, camping, paddleboarding, golfing, or cross-country skiing.

Megan has worked as a physical therapist in private practice in Saskatoon and rural communities. With three years of experience as a bracing technician, she has in-depth knowledge of bracing as a tool to help with recovery and getting back to activity sooner. Her clinical areas of interest include musculoskeletal and sports injuries, exercise prescription, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis management, and providing care across the lifespan—from infants to seniors.
Megan believes that physiotherapy plays a vital role in helping individuals remain active and continue doing the activities they enjoy. She utilizes a combination of education, exercise prescription, and manual therapy to create tailored treatment plans that empower each patient to take control of their recovery. She believes in taking a holistic approach to address the body as a whole, rather than just focusing on the area of pain.
