More About Joleen

She returned to her stomping grounds of Saskatchewan to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Saskatchewan and hopes to combine her love of the outdoors with physical rehabilitation to optimize the benefits for a holistic healing approach. She was excited for the unique opportunity to complete her final clinical placement here at Vangool Wellness. Working under the mentorship of Adrianne Vangool and Amy Garnett she has been able to learn and practice traditional physiotherapy treatments combined with functional movements patterns and breath work of yoga.

Through her experience with Vangool Wellness she has been able to use PhysioYoga in one-on- one sessions, group settings consisting of chair yoga, postpartum yoga, and engaged in the community through a student lead initiative for community health called the SWITCH program. She has also completed the Accessible Yoga Teacher Training certification and will use this experience to enrich her future practice. She has loved the opportunity to be a part of the Vangool Wellness team and feels the skills she has learned will enrich her own practice as she moves forward in her career.
